What Are Remastered Photos?

Remastered photos are better and larger versions of the already existing photos. Remastered photos are newly optimized by hand and have a size of 4K (2880 x 2160 pixel). Also additional zoomed-in pictures are available, which especially makes slideshows more interesting. We've just started to remaster our photos, so at the moment only few photos are available in remastered version.

Our aim is to offer ALL photos in remastered version. This will take years, since the remastering process is very time-consuming. Meanwhile both the "old" photos and the "remastered" photos are exisiting simultaneously. As soon as we've remastered all photos of a certain model, the "old" photos of this model will be removed.

The name of the "remastered" photos differs from the name of the "old" photos. This makes them easily distinguishable: The name of the "old" photos primarily consists of numbers, e.g. 3027s001wp033.jpg. The name of the "remastered" photos consists of the model and a sequence number, e.g. absinthe_photo_L_23.jpg. There's no correlation between the two names.

Since the remastering of all photos will take years it makes no sense to wait with joining. It's better to join now. We can't guarantee that SiliconeFree.com will still exist in five years. Anything can happen.

We recommend to join right now and to download all our "old" photos. This way you already got all our photos on your harddisk, no matter what may happen later. In a couple of years, when the remastering process has finished, you can join a second time to download all our "remastered" photos. Or you might join now with a recurrent subscription to constantly enjoy the periodically added "remastered" photos.
